Your interviewer will ask this question to gauge if you lean towards one aspect of the job versus another. They're interested if you thrive on this solitary, more introverted work and less so on the more social aspect of the job, or if you don't prefer that work, and lean more towards social interaction and collaboration. Try to strike a balance when you answer this question. Whether your personality type leans more towards introverted or extroverted tasks, try to present yourself as closer to the center of the scale. The impression you want to set is that you are up to any challenge without hesitation.
