My father, along with some close friends, has spent several years in the banking industry. From them, I have learned that this industry is constantly changing and requires its professionals to stay on top of the latest trends in both the industry and the economy. This appeals to me over industries that may not be as challenging or interesting. I am also looking for an industry that makes a big difference in the lives of its customers. I can think of very few industries that have an impact on people, from helping them buy a first home, to financing the purchase of a new business.
