      1st Answer Example

"I enjoy problem-solving and helping people. I worked as a customer service representative in a call center for Wells Fargo in college, and the experience motivated me to learn more about how to help my clients by understanding investing, saving, and using banking services to meet their needs. Working as a personal banker will give me a great foundation to start my career within the banking industry."

      Anonymous Answer

"I have spent time speaking with my parents and other professional connections and have identified four industries that I am interested in. They include banking, real estate, investments, and medical devices. Based on my personality, strengths, and interests, I know that I want a sales/client relationship position within one of these industries. This position will provide me with first-hand experience in a customer-facing role in one of my preferred industries. Working with commercial clients will also provide me with experience and insights into other industries which I believe will be valuable as I prepare for my post-college career."

      Amanda's Feedback

Your response is well structured and thought out. You've also done a good job sharing the aspects of the role that interest you and way. However, it may be more beneficial to focus solely on the banking industry rather than spreading your focus across banking, real estate, investments, and medical devices because the question is focused on a banking role. In addition, stating that you're interested in four industries may give the interview the idea that you're not truly invested in the banking industry.
