MasterCard will have opportunities present in both business-to-business and business-to-consumer divisions. Before your interview, research the opportunities available in both divisions. Of course, you want your response to be a match for the position for which you are interviewing. With that said, there will always be an opportunity to grow and be promoted over time. Be honest with the interviewer about your preference if you have one, but also be sure to express a desire to focus on the position at hand.

"The role at MasterCard that initially piqued my interest is a B2B opportunity, a division where I am most experienced. When I started my career, I worked in a B2C environment, which I quite enjoyed.
