Almost every position in a hotel requires a uniform with personal appearance standards. The interviewer needs to know if there is any issue that might prevent you from abiding by the guidelines. For example, some positions require hair length, no tattoos, or piercings of any kind. This is a great opportunity to have a conversation about what the specific guidelines are, and whether you are comfortable with them. If you have questions, ask! A clear understanding will avoid issues and embarrassment later.
