At this time, Hyatt is not requiring employees to be vaccinated as a condition of employment, is it an issue for you that you may encounter a guest or employee that is not vaccinated?
Several large hotel chains including Hyatt are not requiring vaccinations as conditions for employment. However, they are requiring all guests and employees to wear masks and abide by any state or local restrictions. The interviewer is doing his best to inform you of the situation, and then to allow you if you desire to proceed with the interview.
"I am fully vaccinated, and have no issue with wearing a mask. I take the pandemic seriously and its a small matter to mask up. I'd prefer to work with vaccinated people, but I can only take the precautions I can control."
