Why are you leaving your current role?

This is a common job interview question. The interviewer asks why you want to leave your current position to understand what's motivating you to change companies and/or your career path.

Answer honestly, but avoid speaking negatively about your current employer or any colleagues. Even if you're leaving because of a conflict with a co-worker or manager, it's best not to address that directly as it can leave a negative impression on the interviewer.

"The main reason I'm leaving my current job is to pursue professional growth. I feel I've reached my maximum potential at Company ABC, and I'm confident that joining Facebook will offer more opportunities."
