How do you stay organized when working on multiple projects?
The interviewer is curious about your organizational strategies. They want to know that you have experience managing several responsibilities at once and hear about how you stay organized.
"The most critical component of my organizational strategy is organizing my time well. Effective time management leads to a clearer head and more time to focus on the task at hand. The second most important element of organization for me is my space--both in a physical and technical capacity. I keep my work area clean and clutter-free, and I organize my materials by project so I don't miss anything. Similarly, I keep all of my computer files organized, and I use various flows and tools to keep me focused and on track throughout the day and week. I have learned over my career that neglecting any one of these key areas makes it harder for me to stay organized and effective at getting my work done, so I always maintain high standards of organization at work."
You will undoubtedly be working on multiple things at once in this role, so you should assure the interviewer that you are prepared to effectively organize your time, tasks, and even stress in order to get things done. When preparing your response, reflect on a particularly busy time and the measures you took to ensure you could successfully accomplish all your targets and goals.
