Give me an example of a time you had to be extra diligent in order to meet a deadline.

The interviewer is probing for the ways you handle your work with diligence and accuracy. Are you determined to complete your tasks on time, or do you frequently miss deadlines? How you answer will indicate the level of your skills in your given field. Discuss your trustworthiness and ability to be self-guided in your work by sharing your process. This will come down to technical skills and aligning all the necessary components to a conclusive result. Talk to the interviewer about your time management skills, multitasking tools, EQ, attention to detail, and method for proofing your work for errors. Other items you want to touch on in your answer are your organizational skills, methodology or approach to project management, and the standard you set for your work. Consider this when structuring your answer.
