In these meetings, I let them know that while I value their ideas, there need to be concrete tasks. I'll ask for specific steps and respective owners. Once I have everyone's list, I'll distill the plan and take out any task that doesn't directly impact the success of the project. Then I'll gather the team again, present the plan and run the schedule by them."
