When did you complete your master's degree? What was the focus?
This information is likely on your resume, so the interviewer wants you to expand on what they already know. However, studies report that recruiters and interviewers will generally only spend 6-8 seconds glancing at a candidate's resume or CV, so they may not know when you obtained your master's degree. Discuss any highlights from your post-secondary studies that made you a stand-out student, when you completed your degree, and from where.
"I completed my Master's in Education in 2005 at Brown University. My focus was on 'The Art of Teaching Secondary School.' It was an excellent program, teaching educators to inspire, transform, and move the students to higher states of being. I was also excited to graduate third in my class while maintaining my full-time teaching job."

I completed my master's in 2002. The focus was Secondary Education. I then went on and got my principal and superintendent certificates.

Remember that while you want to answer the question directly, you also want to add color so the interviewer learns more about you and finds it interesting too. Perhaps discuss what prompted you to get your Master's, as well as your Principal and Superintendent certificates, and how these experiences have helped you to become better at your profession.
