"As a senior network engineer, I am more than prepared to take on a leadership role, either formally as a manager or as a designated team leader. My leadership style starts with leading by example, being willing to do the same tasks I expect of my team. When delegating tasks, I make sure that each team member understands the project, their individual responsibility, and what we're trying to accomplish. I provide them with all the resources they need to get the job done and make myself available if they have questions or need support. I then allow them to accomplish the task while monitoring their progress. I also believe it is my responsibility to advocate for the team when interfacing with stakeholders outside the network organization."
