"The latest technology for routers is called Wi-Fi 6. This faster standard makes the many devices in homes and businesses perform better with fewer errors or outages. While Wi-Fi 6 routers are currently available, Wi-Fi 6-enabled devices are not widely available. These routers use the most recent Wi-Fi standard, 802.11ac, with a maximum transfer speed of 1.3Gbps. 802.11ac supports devices with multi-antenna and MIMO (Multi Input Multi Output) support."
