"Our industry moves at a rapid pace, and there are new developments in products and technologies almost every day. I work hard to stay current on these recent developments and anticipate what technologies vendors are developing for future releases. Maintaining strong relationships with the vendors helps me to achieve this. Some of the things I see coming down the road include higher speed, more reliable and easier to use wireless technology, the use of microwaves, satellites, and other nontraditional means for transmitting data across large areas and incorporating artificial intelligence into network devices such as routers and switches to intelligently reroute traffic to minimize bottlenecks and decrease latency."

Your answer should demonstrate that you are aware of the most recent developments in computer networking and have relationships with the key vendors in the industry, which provide you with a preview of future technologies they are developing. Keep your answer brief and to the point, and anticipate a follow-up question since this is essential for most organizations.
