I determine if my actions will help move a project forward and comply with any company guidelines I'm expected to follow. An example of this is when the network development team was having an issue with one of the designs we created. Rather than waiting to be consulted, I contacted the team leader to discuss the issue. We collaborated to develop a solution which resolved it, and the team was able to move forward more quickly than if we had waited for a formal review process."
