While many Activities Assistants do not have a least favorite aspect of their job, some feel that the job is repetitive, that they are pulled in many directions by nursing staff, or that it is hard when a resident you are close to dies. You know better than anyone what you do not find enjoyable about the job.

"My least favorite aspect of the job is seeing how sad and lonely the residents are when their family does not come to visit. I understand if the family lives far away and cannot visit often, but it makes me sad when I know the family lives close and doesn't take the time to visit. I try to make up for the residents' loneliness by visiting with them and listening to their stories."
