Why the Interviewer Asks This Question

Your interviewer is curious to learn more about how self-aware you are, and whether your image of yourself aligns with how others perceive you. Throughout your interview, they'll be taking notes on your responses, while documenting how consistent your narrative is from answer to answer. What You Need to Know

Take note of all the defining qualities and personality traits Zalando uses to describe their teams. After spending time on their jobs site, you'll notice they use terms, such as ambitious, open-minded, respectful, kind, and collaborative. Then, reflect on the remarks your previous coworkers have made about you or your character, and revisit the comments made in your previous performance reviews. Then take note of the ways in which those align with how Zalando sees the people that define their company.

"We are united in our ambitious entrepreneurial spirit and love of collaboration. We respect each other's differences, as open-mindedness, mutual respect, and kindness are essential traits in the people who thrive in our teams. There is no space for big egos or micromanagement."
