I am well-versed in using Slack, ProofHub, Chanty, Google Hangouts, Zoom, and Skype as effective apps to hold meetings, manage projects, ask questions, and update team members on current tasks or milestones. "I started working remotely two years ago because my role answering calls from depressed and suicidal youth could be done from home, and the privacy of my own home enhanced my ability to talk these young people through very challenging thoughts and emotions. It did, however, pose unique challenges in terms of communicating with other members of my team. As such, my supervisor wanted those of us who had recently gone remote to quickly teach ourselves how to use Zoom chat and video features to effectively communicate with each other throughout the workday and workweek. This helped us better provide updates on client calls and continue to build our bonds as a team."
