This question serves as a test of how "customer-obsessed" you are. Your interviewer is trying to assess your professionalism, emotional intelligence, and empathy when dealing with customers. T-Mobile states their "success relies on the trust of our customers, and one another. We strive to earn it every day through uncompromising ethical conduct." Give a specific example of a time you went above and beyond assisting a customer. If you can, express that going above and beyond is your standard.

"At my current job, I discussed our product line with a customer at length. At a certain point, they were happy with my service and asked if we could deliver the products they purchased to their home, and even though it wasn't common practice, I arranged it. Then they left their cell phone by accident, got into a cab, and left. Luckily, I had their address, so I got in my car and drove to their residence. I pulled up to their house right as they were getting out of their cab and handed them their phone. I don't know if they were a T-Mobile customer or not. But I think it would be funny if they were."
