"I was the top sales leader at my most recent company. I think the reason I did so well was my consistency in following up with customers. I checked in with them daily, also checking to make sure I was meeting my own personal sales goals on a weekly basis. My contribution helped them increase sales that year by 25%!"
"The greatest accomplishment in my career was graduating from university as an honors student while still working full-time in a related field. I was top of my class while working full-time. This achievement showed me that I could dedicate myself to my career and reach the goals that I set for myself. It felt great to accomplish so much and be recognized for my dedication."
Think of times when you received high praise from a manager, won an award, or simply felt proud of yourself for a job well done on a challenging project. Keep in mind that numbers speak volumes! My greatest achievement is my graduation this upcoming May. I've worked extremely hard to get a degree in psychology and business while working summer jobs and taking summer classes. All of my hard work will pay off in just a few weeks and I'm extremely excited for the next challenge in my life which will be beginning my career.
Cindy's Feedback

I once took a role as a financial controller at a small manufacturing company. It had very poor financial controls- poor bank recs, debt collection, and most importantly no cashflow forecast. I implemented controls, debtors report and a cashflow, this really enabled the company to plan for expansion and growth. Its turnover grew by over 10% in its first year.
Marcie's Feedback
Excellent! This is a strong response. You use the STAR method well and including the quantifiable result (10%) makes your answer very impactful. (Did you mean to write turnover? Usually, an increase in employee turnover is negative, so check your stat is correct..?) Consider ending your answer by indicating that you're eager to help this company expand and grow too.
