Keep me challenged
Offer a supportive environment
Give me extra responsibility
Praise is always welcome, but just recognition and appreciation makes a big difference.
I like to be in a competitive environment, not in a stifling way, but a healthy competitive sense.
I think its always good to allow a certain amount of independence on the job, giving people space to do their job and trust in their ability. Micromanaging can be quite counterproductive

Rachelle's Feedback
It's great how you gave a distinction between good competition and not so good competition. This answer will give the company a very clear idea of how to keep you engaged in your work.

Like the idea of freedom and responsibility. If freedom means that ideas will be listened to and logical action I really thrive on this culture and working method.
Marcie's Feedback
Freedom might also mean independence, as in not being micromanaged. How exactly can the company motivate you? Financial compensation? Perks like extra PTO? Verbal or written praise? Social recognition? Make sure to clarify this for the interviewer. Also, mention that you have a strong work ethic and will always work hard no matter what. Good job!
