"I've always been a sports footwear fanatic. I am all about style and sports. There are a lot of sports fashion trends out there for every interest. I don't watch much television, but there's this show called the world according to Jeff Goldblum. Have you seen it? The first episode is all about shoes. He gets it. But I'm not interested in working with any shoe brand. Nike has undoubtably the best branding model of all time. Best shoes, best branding, and I like to think I'm the best at what I do, so I want to work for the best, with the best."

They're testing to see if your personality fits the role. Make sure you perform your homework on the company and on yourself to see how well the two align. That is the interviewer's goal, after all. Is to find the candidate who is most aligned and would compliment their brand, their team, their environment, and the values and mission. So save them the trouble and do their homework for them.
