When discussing under-represented communities, diversity, and inclusion, demonstrate professional acceptance and empathy. On a human level, we're all driven by the same basic needs and united through human experience. Focus on the unifiers of diversity, on a general acceptance, and the sensitivities of those from underrepresented communities. Underscore that true innovation comes from a diverse work environment. Communicate clearly and decisively. The last thing you want to do is come across as uncomfortable or out of your element when answering this question. Every culture is unique, and the interviewer wants to ensure you understand the culture of the Nike environment. Share your philosophy, life approach, and professional experiences with other cultures and the human experience.
