"One of my biggest fears of moving into a leadership position has been having to implement disciplinary action. I shared this with one of my past managers who graciously allowed me to sit in on some of these conversations to help me understand how to approach these situations, so they are never uncomfortable. I learned that I need to address things as soon as they happen making sure I have all the facts first. My manager also shared that her secret was having a great relationship with each of her employees She said it allowed her to talk about the tough stuff with them more easily. This advice has helped me feel comfortable with taking on a management position."
