Your interviewer is curious how familiar you are with their unique employee culture, and interested in hearing why you feel you are a worthy addition to their dream team of "stunning colleagues" who are extraordinary at what they do and highly effective at working together. "One outstanding employee gets more done and costs less than two adequate employees. There's lots of love and there are demanding peers. It's exhilarating, and how we learn the most, do our best work, improve the fastest, and have the most fun."
They go on to describe the individuals they are hoping to add to their dream teams as loyal, high-performers who are ambitious to pursue shared goals. "Succeeding on a dream team is about being effective, not about working hard." They are looking for teammates who are supportive of each other, and who take informed risks which require courage and encouragement from leaders and peers. "Our model works best for people who value excellence and the opportunities it provides."

When delivering your answers, be sure to exude confidence while remaining humble. The last thing you want to do is confuse arrogance for confidence, no matter how talented you may be. At Netflix, they are looking for strong and supportive additions to their team, who rise above sheer talent. "On our dream team, there are no brilliant jerks, as they are detrimental to great teamwork. We insist on decent human interactions, no matter how brilliant someone may be. When highly capable people work together well, they inspire each other to be more creative, more productive and ultimately more successful as a team than they could be individually." They go on to detail that they want to ensure that every player is amazing at their position and plays effectively with others.

"I can keep up with the best and am a collaborating team player through and through. I'm one of those rare top performers who walks into work every day with the mindset of a stakeholder. If I worked at Netflix, I would eat, drink, and breathe the company. I would embody the culture, behavior, and values, which would take no effort as I feel I already embrace these, and would always tend to my work, and to the workplace with equal investment as I would my own living room, passions, and personal affairs. I am extremely competitive with myself, and no matter what, I always strive to outperform my personal best. Also, I can speak with authority on most things Netflix already, from programming to the catalog to trending events."
