How do you like to encourage ideas in others?
This should reveal some of your leadership qualities. Talk to the interviewer about your ability to encourage creative ideas with your team members. Explain how you motivate your team, such as leading by example, mentoring, and inspiring innovation.
"I like to encourage other people to be creative in their thinking and present ideas to the company, no matter how off the wall they may seem. Some of our most successful employees are ones who are confident in their ability to bring forward their unique ideas. I encourage participation through an open door policy and strong praise for those who show initiative."
"I am a motivating person and I encourage ideas in others by making them feel comfortable when it comes to speaking up and contributing ideas for the team."

I think it's all about putting people in a comfortable place where they can get into the right mindset to contribute their ideas. An example is the monthly newsletter Innovation Times I started to highlight innovative startups, interesting tech articles, and sustainability topics of the month. The goal of that was to get people's creative juices going and provide feedback to the CI team.
Stephanie's Feedback
This is a wonderful example, but I suggest adding a closing sentence that clearly states the outcomes of the Innovation Times. What effect has this newsletter had on the team?
