Eventually, it expanded worldwide and has multiple brands under its umbrella like the fashion company Fabric Scandinavian AB, brands like Weekday, Monki, Cheap Monday, H&M Home, etc. These brands offer various styles and trends within fashion, beauty, accessories, housewares as well as modern healthy food.

In 1947, Swedish Erling Persson opened a new womenswear store in Sweden. He calls it Hennes ( Hers). In 1968, Hennes acquired the Stockholm-based hunting apparel and fishing equipment retailer Mauritz Widforss, and the name was changed to Hennes & Mauritz. In 1974, The stores were rebranded with the abbreviation “H&M”. Today, H&M Group is present in more than 75 markets worldwide, of which almost 60 also offer online sales. Weekday, COS, H&M, Other Spirits, Monki, Arket.
