"I feel that as a facilitator I adapt to change on a daily basis! The vibe in every session I lead is different every day, employees moods and efforts vary as well. For example, leading a session before lunch is always challenging. I am well accustomed to working in a changing environment. I meet these challenges by adjusting my lesson if needed and incorporating exercises that get my audience energized."

This year we have had the biggest challenges with upper-grade behaviors of disrespect, entitlement, and using their voice inappropriately. We continued to work with students in the same manner we have done in the past with no sustainable change. It was important to finally look as a team at what we are doing, what is working and isn't, identify our main goal, and brainstorm further ideas. We had to think not as we had but with the lens of what our students bring to the table. By taking the time to listen to understand and then to be understood, we made changes based on what students identified as their own needs to be successful throughout the day.
