How do you handle stress on the job?
Are you someone who is able to handle stress on the job? What do you do to remain calm and continue with the rest of your day? How do you manage the stressful times? Talk to the interviewer about your ability to manage pressure in the workplace.
"I handle stress very well and when you call my references, they will attest to this fact. When I am under pressure on the job, I focus on the task at hand and make sure to not get distracted. I will stay late if I know that will decrease my stress the next day. Staying on deadline is very helpful and I will delegate when necessary to alleviate some stress."

Being a principal, there is stress daily, usually on the days you thought you would get the most done. When faced with stress, I focus on putting first things - prioritizing my quadrant 2. That way when other matters that may be urgent arise, I have taken care of what is most important. If I find myself in a very stressful situation, I take a breath, try to understand the situation and those involved, and then take to process my next steps. I am not afraid to seek the support of others.

It sounds like you have a good handle on managing stress, which the interviewer will appreciate. Can you explain what you mean by quadrants? And can you further strengthen your answer by including an example of a time when you successfully navigated a stressful situation? Good job!
