Honestly, I treat working with a team like working with a group of students. It is important to identify your priorities, set a goal and create measurable steps toward that goal. But none of this cannot be accomplished if you haven't first been proactive by building trusting relationships with those you are working with. You need to empower everyone to share and determine how each of these keeps your priorities and goals in mind. Discourse among all individuals is key to coming to a consensus.
Marcie's Feedback
Great! How exactly do you build trust with the people on your team? And how do you empower them to share their ideas? This might be a good place to talk about the type of leadership style you employ and emphasize that you value the idea and opinions of others. Great job!
