QUESTION 5 OF 35

Tell me about the most interesting project you have worked on this year. What is the biggest thing you learned from it that you can bring to the Doordash team?

Discuss one of your recent work projects that particularly piqued your interest. If it stretched you professionally, talk about why that was important to you and what you learned that you can bring to this role at Doordash. If you can relate the project to Doordash's mission of focusing on quality improvement, that will make your answer stand out to your interviewer.

"In my current role, we've been working on a variety of projects with fingerprint recognition software. One of the most interesting projects was a fingerprint-based ATM system. It was a test project for a large banking institution. In addition to learning a great deal about fingerprint recognition, I was also able to learn a lot about the critical relationship between software and security. If hired, I would be able to bring my experience with software and security to the work I do here."

Anonymous Answer

XXXXXXX Recertification Season. Service levels are challenged, contractors have to be interviewed by the masses, and we have to work with the pharma clients on a weekly basis.
The high stress, high demand pace would assist with the ramp-up that is needed with newly launched lines of business for DoorDash. I learned the challenges that came when leaders are so busy with the day-to-day business, they sacrifice coaching and development time. I also experienced OT burnout and how to recover.

Stephanie's Feedback

This sounds like an interesting (and extremely dynamic) project that you worked on! In order to make your response more compelling, I suggest removing the part about OT burnout and instead focusing on the impact this project had and what you learned, especially any takeaways that could translate into this role at Doordash. While it's clear that you experienced some challenges, it's important to end on a positive note, so you can show growth.
