Be honest but filtered about your situation. Use discretion in what you share. If you are leaving because you had issues with your manager, take care of how you present it. The last thing you want to suggest is that you have issues with people in positions of authority. However, leaving an employer to further your career growth, especially if your current position isn't fostering the rate of growth you long for. Growth opportunities and broadening your skills are relatable reasons. Giving reasons such as higher pay or working closer to home will only raise red flags. Be specific about how this new position will help you take your career to the next level.
