"I take every opportunity to ask for feedback. Anytime our leadership performs a check-in with me, I take advantage of it. It's in those moments where the timing feels right. I know our team leaders have a lot on their plate, and I am sensitive to that. The last thing I want to do is distract them from the demands on their time. But I also won't let the opportunity pass by. So when they perform a check-in with me, I know the timing is right, that their focus is already on that, and I am always greatly for their insights and direction. "Every month, I hand over to my boss something of a progress report. I follow the same format each month to make things easier for them. I'm something of a stealth worker and have difficulty singing my praises. This report is my way of letting them know what I'm doing. I schedule a time to review it with my boss, and then we discuss where I should focus my attention on my development next."
