Tell me about the last time you had a disagreement with a coworker.

Your interviewer needs to ensure anyone they consider bringing on board will be able to get along with the rest of their teams. So, this question centers around your communication skills, particularly whether you can communicate nondefensively with situational leadership, while also communicating with empathy and active listening. "We grow together through respectful dialogue, then put action behind our words to further our impact in the workplace and in our communities."

"Just the other day, I was collaborating with a colleague at work, and we had a respectful disagreement on how to approach an aspect of the project. In the end, I decided it was best to align myself with their suggestion. Even though I felt my approach was better at that time, their approach offered the opportunity to learn something new. And I did."
