"On weekends, I volunteer for a foundation that gives back to adults with special needs. I spend my Saturday afternoons reading to others, doing puzzles, teaching new skills, and building a community of friends. What this special needs community has taught me is so special, and each person I work with inspires me to see the brighter, lighter side of life and to be thankful for the opportunities I have.
