Last year I led my fraternitie’s Relay for Life team, which is a community-based fundraising effort for cancer research and awareness. My team raised over 15,000 dollars and was the 8th-highest fundraising team in the country. I have gone on to hold an Executive position in my campus’s Relay for Life organization, recruiting other fraternities to get involved with philanthropy and leading a group of 14 delegates. There is a type of fulfillment associated with non-profit work that is difficult to find in everyday life, and I hope to continue this work alongside Boeing."
