Where would you like to take your career next?

This question offers you an opportunity to share where you would like to take your career with Baker Hughes. The assessment model and the recruiter aim to identify those candidates who are motivated and determined and whose short-term goals, long-term goals, and the bigger picture of their career align with what Baker Hughes has to offer. They are looking for candidates who are confident in their statements, who have a strong work ethic, and have clearly prepared for the opportunity.

Familiarize yourself with the value propositions they've posted on the career page in their recruiting efforts and pay attention to the language they've crafted, which is indicative of their company culture. "Your career success is the sum of all of your experiences. There is enormous opportunity for your career, with the training and support you need to forge a career you can be proud of. Our people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes. We know we are better when all of our people are developed, engaged and able to bring their whole authentic selves to work. Remember, you will be evaluated for your confidence and sincerity. When confused or concentrating, we tend to furrow our brow or redirect our gaze, and you want to come across as prepared. So try to remain self-aware of how you'll be perceived, remain objective and confident, and keep your body language, posture and facial expressions as relaxed and open and at ease. Practice relaxing your brow and widening your eyes. Tilt your head slightly and nod slowly. Speak softly and with ease. Briefly share the attainable career goals you aim to achieve. Share your standard of excellence, and what success looks like to you across all fronts. Go into brief detail about how Baker Hughes can help you achieve them, and the timeframes you've set for each milestone. Then touch on where you would like to take your career after that.
