      The Goal

      This getting-to-know-you question assesses how well your personality will fit the profile of their culture and how closely your passions and ideals align with what they represent. Before the interview, compose a capsule bio, typically about 200 words. Share the basics of who you are, why you are here, where you come from and where you're going, and your interests, views, and values. You can include personal information such as where you are from, your upbringing, your character, and educational and professional achievements. Describe how your life experiences influenced your self-awareness, growth, and continuous development. Rehearse it, ensuring you come across as relaxed, interesting, relatable, communicative, and competent, showcasing you have the analytic abilities required for the position.

      What You Need to Know

      Apple uses Hirevue, an assessment vendor, for one of the phases of their interviews. Hirevue's proprietary machine learning algorithms analyze data points found in your video interview to predict your future job performance and ascertain when you are being truthful or confident and how well prepared you are for the interview. They evaluate every data point to identify the top performers and those most suited to the company's goals and culture. They then pass on those recorded interviews, including their findings, allowing Apple's hiring authority to compare candidates' performances side by side.
