"Because I prioritized my studies and stopped covering this co-worker's shifts, they stopped being nice to me at the coffee shop I worked at. Their attitude took on a negative tone. At first, this bad energy seemed focused on me, but then I noticed how they weren't being all that nice to anyone. That kind of negativity can be toxic, contagious. I found it challenging. I smile a lot, and sometimes it felt like a strain to keep smiling and having a good time around that kind of energy. But I kept on anyway. Sometimes they'd turn around when they realized they were the only one not having a good time. But it was certainly a challenge working closely with them at times."

Accenture's culture towards inspiring innovation is heavily steeped in a collaborative environment. Delving deeper into overcoming personal differences, their ideal candidate will exhibit leadership skills by readily stepping outside of their comfort zone. Furthermore, this requires enhanced communication and a "can-do" team mentality.

Most brands will recruit those who fit their mold. Soft people skills, and being able to non-defensively communicate with a wide range of personalities are traits of strong leadership. Investing the time to work with employees who take more effort to get on the same page makes for a much stronger team. This brand of team collaboration broadly enhances work relations.
Yet, providing several examples of difficult co-workers you worked with could accidentally betray your narrative. Rather than siding with your perspective of working with multiple difficult employees, they might wonder if those multiple employees were working with the one problem employee, namely you. Proceed with caution when navigating this question. Consistency is of value here. This question goes deeper than working with a challenging co-worker. Its true nature is in determining how easy you are to work with.

There are several interview stages for the Accenture Internship program. The final interviews take place in The Accenture Assessment Centre. This is divided into three sections, group activities, a virtual reality assessment, and technical assessments and interviews. Their ideal recruit will embrace their core values, namely, "Valuing diversity by holding respect for the individual and encouraging an open, trusting and inclusive environment." They'll be trying to assess how deeply you embrace their values from their behavioral question sets to their group activities.
