"I worked with someone who came from a different cultural background than my own. I knew little about their culture and society and was amazed by what they endured. I had a vague idea, but not to the extent they shared. Afterward, I kind of saw that person as a hero. The hurdles they had to overcome, and the sheer determination to beat the odds stacked against them. Despite what they endured, they consider themselves the luckiest person alive. That's an achievement. That's greatness and it humbles you."

Accenture states, in order to fit into their work culture, "You must exemplify Accenture's attitude to inclusion and diversity, valuing diversity and encouraging an open, trusting and inclusive environment." Diversity is a repeated component of Accenture's culture. So this question gauges your level of comfort in working with others from backgrounds different than your own. How confidently you answer this question will assist them in evaluating how well you'd fit into the culture of their brand.
