I would avoid discussing how it's unnecessary to be thinking about where strategy is headed.

"A strategy can have so many layers to it and so to keep up with where it is headed I always listen to podcasts and read articles. Some of my favorites are (insert name of your top two) because they like to give a viewpoint from a couple of directions. Recent trends that I have kept up with are (insert two types of trends). This has assisted me with a recent strategy for a client. I think overall the direction of strategy can be found among a variety of platforms and when discovered can provide a good foundation to build from."
