How do you think social media plays into brand strategy?

I would focus on what you do know about social media and how it plays into strategy. If you haven't used social media before then focus on how you think it would play a part in strategy.

I would avoid making up anything about how you have used social media in the past if you haven't used it. If the interviewer is asking this then they actually have experience in this space.

"I think social media can play a part in certain types of brand strategy, especially in certain markets. It depends on the type of demographic or message that the client wants to showcase. It can definitely play a fundamental part in brand strategy."
