Tell me about a time you proposed a strategy that a client didn't agree on? How did you persuade their decision?

I recommend focusing on a client who didn't want to go in your direction. Provide an example of when you were successful in persuading them to use your strategy.

You never want to share specific client names or give any emotional reason behind their thoughts. You always want to share your experience with the client in a good light and focus on you. The interview is about learning more about you, not your past clients.

"There have been a couple of times when a client wasn't too certain about how my strategy would work. I always like to address their concerns and probe more into why they are hesitant. I then share with them how it has worked in the past if I have used something similar. In the end, I summarize a couple of options that have addressed their concern and usually come up with a strategy that we both can agree on."
