5. What are some of the key questions you ask a new client who is trying to rebrand?
Why the Interviewer Asks This Question
There are probably several clients they work with who have done a rebrand. The interviewer wants to know what kind of experience you have with rebranding.

Focus Your Answer On
Focus on any past experience you have worked on rebranding for a client. Even if you didn't do the strategy and were a part of the team that did the rebrand.

What to Avoid
Avoid sharing that you asked the questions if you were a member of the team but didn't drive the rebranding. Be honest and share that you didn't lead it but you were a part of the team. Let the interviewer know that the person you worked with asked the majority of questions.

Answer Example
"In the most recent rebranding that I did for a client, there were quite a few things that I needed to gather before considering how to rebrand them. I started by asking questions on what they thought failed in their branding before. I like to inquire why they want to rebrand, and what they think their current brand says about them. Learning about what to avoid can give me a start in the right direction."
