We are in the process of transitioning several of our services to the cloud. Can you describe your experience working with cloud-based technology?

Remember to research the cloud-based technologies mentioned within the job description if you are interviewing for a technical role. I found it frustrating when interviewing technologists who could not speak to the basics of the highlighted technology requirements for the roles they sought. I did not expect them to be experts with my company's exact solutions, but I valued candidates who understood the function of each solution and spoke to their experience working with similar technology.

"I was excited to learn that Zebra Technologies is investing in cloud-based data lake technology. I have never worked with DeltaLake specifically, but I have extensive experience working with cloud-based data lake Amazon Web Services solutions. I also have experience working with Microsoft Power BI, which is cloud-based. I feel confident that I can apply my experience working with cloud-based data lake information to meet the analytical requirements of the open role if hired."

"I had the opportunity to work with several cloud-based technologies during my coursework in college. I was also able to acquire my AWS Cloud Practitioner certification last year. Additionally, we worked with some of Oracle's cloud-based solutions. It is my understanding that Zebra uses Oracle ERP solutions, and I look forward to working on projects that will further my knowledge of cloud-based technologies if hired for the software engineer role."
