      How to Answer

If you are lucky enough to land an interview, make some effort and research the opportunity. Think about how this job will help you in your career. It's crucial for you to know what you have to offer them and what they can do for you.
While your passion and excitement about the job are important, it's always good to have some hard facts to back it up. For instance, saying 'I have heard great things about your institution, and I know I would be a great fit for this job' is not very specific.
If you find recent news articles or press releases about their accomplishments, mention how that impressed you.

Answering this question comes down to why the position itself interests you as opposed to the company. Although it's appropriate to discuss how the company's culture and mission appeal to you and why you think it'll be a great fit, focus on the skills, qualities, and experience you have that will allow you to excel within the role and what about the role interests you. If, for example, you love the idea of building a curriculum, having a flexible work schedule, being able to work remotely, and helping students, explain to the interviewer why these parts of the role interest you. Also, highlight your passion for educating students since this will likely be important to the interviewer.
