I have always been willing to do whatever is necessary to get the job done, but two situations stand out in my mind. When I was a teacher on track break, my principal often called me at home to ask if I was available to assist the school. I went to different classrooms to pull out students to administer timed reading tests. I was informally known as the "Reading Test Teacher."
