"Sometimes full disclosure can damage someone's self-esteem, and reality isn't always best expressed in full and can be self-indulgent based on a person's intention. In those instances, honesty isn't always the best policy. However, when it comes to offering feedback and an employee's ability to be trusted, honest is very important."

I believe that honesty is always the best policy as long as the message is communicated in a helpful and non-judgmental way. I will model ways to be honest with my students without hurting their feelings so that will be able to create and shape their connections with their fellow students, family members, and friends.
