Why did you choose this career path and what continues to motivate and interest you in it?

"As you saw in my resume and we discussed today, I spent the early part of my career as an administrative assistant and receptionist in a few different private businesses. The foundation of knowledge I received in customer service, administrative coordination, and general office duties really set the basis for my career. I eventually got to a point where I wanted my work to mean more and having a good friend in the medical industry really opened my eyes to where I could take my career. I've spent the last six years working in a fast-paced clinical setting, coordinating patient appointments, greeting patients in-person, and making follow-up phone calls to them. I love helping to make a difference in the day of a person that is sick, hurt, or struggling and look forward to continuing to do that with UnitedHealth Group members in this role."
