In serving over 51 million members worldwide, the role you are being considered for at UnitedHealth Group will surely require the need to multitask and handle many things at one time. It will be important that the hiring manager understands that you are thoughtful and organized in your approach to handling your work, so they ask this question with the thought that your prior performance will predict success in this role at UHG. Now is the time to talk about how you prioritize your tasks and the organizational tools and resources you use to keep your work accurate and on time. Try to throw in some thoughts on the specific job duties you will be handling in this role and how your current way of doing things will prove to be successful.

"In a territory like this at UnitedHealth Group, the sheer number of members your field team cares for is astronomical and takes a great amount of organization, detail, and focus to ensure that every member receives the time and care they deserve. I'm happy to say that my current caseload of over 150 in-home patients requires the same. Technology has certainly changed in my time in this field and I've always learned and embraced tools to use to schedule meetings and keep myself organized. My first priorities are always the patient visits I have on my calendar that day. I utilize an online calendar tool my company provides that builds in travel time and hour-long visits at each patient's home. I like to block my calendar for 3-4 days of visits per week and am very organized in ensuring that I don't have wasted travel time each week. I love to schedule entire office days to catch up on documentation, phone calls, and other administrative tasks. I'd love to learn more about the tools and resources this team uses if you have time to explain."
